Doncaster Junior Football Club (DJFC) Registrations for Season 2026.
All players wishing to join the Doncaster Junior Football Club must be registered to play.
Registration is not only paramount for the health and safety of our young players, but it is also a legal obligation for our Club members to participate in the Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) competition.
All player registrations fees are charged at the applicable rates* and registration is deemed invalid without full payment.
We encourage our volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, match day runners and for those who will participate in roles which will involve player contact such as match day trainers to also register as members to the Club. There is no registration charge for these volunteer-based roles.
PLAYERS WISHING TO TRANSFER TO THE DONCASTER FOOTBALL CLUB IN SEASON 2026
If you have played at another junior football club and you wish to join the Doncaster Junior Football Club in Season 2026, you will be required to apply for a transfer.
We can submit the request on behalf of the player transferring from the previous Club to the DJFC.

There are two transfer windows for Season 2026:
November 1st to November 30th, 2025.
February 1st to June 30th, 2026
REGISTRATION FEES FOR SEASON 2026 – EARLY BIRD SAVINGS IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE FEBRUARY 1 2026
Fees for Season 2026 are as follows:
Under 8s, Under 9s and Under 10s: $280.00^
Under 11s to Under 18s: $320.00^
^There is a 1.8% additional service fee payable on each registration.
Player registration fees include Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) fees of $198.75 for players aged 11 and above and $167.70 for all players aged between 7 and 10 years of age.
These fees cover umpires; full-time medical officers present at the ground on match day and other insurance and League administration costs.
DJFC Club fees are $112.30 for players aged between 7 to 10 years as of 01/01/2026 and $121.25 for players aged 11 and above as of 01/01/2026. Club fees cover player and team supplies such as match day jumpers, first-aid kits, Club ground facilities and administration for event coverage such as presentation days and end-of season trophies and awards.
* If you registered for the Doncaster JFC Superkick Program held between October 13 and November 17, 2026 you can use your DJFC Superkick voucher you received from the Doncaster JFC to receive a further $55 off your registration. Player registration and payment can only be fulfilled via the PlayHQ website. The Club will not be providing any registration paper application forms or accept any cash or EFTPOS payments for registration.
REGISTRATION REFUNDS:
In the event that a player registers but will play 2 games or less, the DJFC may be prepared to refund their Club fees, in a normal season. The DJFC Committee reserves the right to adjust this refund approach should a season be interrupted for any reason.
Application for refunds during the season will need to be requested via letter or email to the DJFC. The Club refund request will need to be accompanied by an official refund request application form provided by the YJFL to have the League Fees component of the registration fee refunded also.
Should a refund be granted whilst the season is still in progress, the player’s season registration shall be cancelled in the PlayHQ system.
The reconciliation process will normally take place at the end of the season, for administrative simplicity for both Clubs & the League.

COACH’S AND MATCH DAY RUNNER ACCREDITATION:
If you will be coaching a team in Season 2026, all coaches (including assistant coaches) will need to complete their coaching enrolment/accreditation for Season 2026 prior to the commencement of the Season.
If you completed your coaching accreditation for Season 2025, this will not be valid for Season 2026. Accreditation must be completed for each Season.
From Season 2026, all match day runners for competing club teams will require accreditation. Like coaching accreditation, it will only be valid for one season.
Accreditation and enrolment for coaches and match day runners can be completed via the AFL coach’s website: https://play.afl/coach
Accreditation courses and enrolments for Season 2026 will be available from late November/early December 2025.
Our coaching coordinator will advise all potential coaches and match day runners on when enrolments/accreditation will be available on-line to complete. Coaches who successfully complete their accreditation and enrolment via the Coach.AFL website will be automatically added to the Doncaster Junior Football Club PlayHQ participants list within 24 hours so they can be added to team lists accordingly on game day
We strongly recommend that all coaches and match day runners complete their accreditation prior to Round 1 (Sunday, April 19th) of Season 2026 to adhere to YJFL Season By-Laws.
