Before you click on the “Register Here” button below, there are just a few things we want you to know before registering.
To register with the DJFC, you must have a PlayHQ account:
You may already have a PlayHQ account if you have registered your children for other community sports such as cricket, basketball, or netball. You can use the same PlayHQ account to register your child/children for the Doncaster Junior Football Club. If you have an PlayHQ account, simply click on the “Register Here” button below to complete your registration
If you don’t have a PlayHQ account, don’t worry you will be able to set-up your account while registering. Click here for instructions on how to do this.
If you have registered your children before in previous seasons and you are registering for the first time on PlayHQ, the registration process will request that you claim your child’s player profile to be transferred to the PlayHQ database. This player profile will consist of the player’s historical statistical data such as match tallies and registration history etc.
All DJFC player data from previous Seasons has been fully imported into the PlayHQ player database.
Registration Fees for Season.
Under 8s, Under 9s and Under 10s: $300
Under 11s to Under 18s: $350
Sibling discounts of 20% applies on the DJFC Fees if you register from December 1st, 2023.
* Player registration fees include Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) fees of $188.95 (GST incl) for players aged 11 and above and $143.95 (GST incl) for all players aged under 11. These fees cover umpires, full-time medical officers present at the ground on match day and other insurance and League administration costs.
DJFC Club fees which cover player and team supplies such as match day jumpers, first-aid kits, Club ground facilities and administration for event coverage such as presentation days and end-of-season trophies and awards.
Player registration and payments can only be fulfilled via the PlayHQ website. The Club will not be providing any registration paper application forms or accepting any cash or EFTPOS payments for registration. Registrations are only deemed as valid when payment is fully received via the PlayHQ registration payment gateway.
ALL PLAYERS WISHING TO JOIN THE DONCASTER JFC MUST BE REGISTERED.
Registration is not only paramount for the health and safety of our young players, but it is also a legal obligation for our Club members to participate in the Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) competition.
We encourage our volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, team managers and for those who will participate in roles which will involve player contact such as match day trainers to also register as members to the Club. There is no registration charge for these volunteer-based roles.
PLAYERS WISHING TO TRANSFER TO THE DONCASTER FOOTBALL CLUB IN SEASON 2024
If you have played at another junior football club and you wish to join the Doncaster Junior Football Club in Season 2024, you will be required to apply for a transfer.
We can submit the request on behalf of the player transferring from the previous Club to the DJFC.
If you are wishing to transfer, please send the player’s full name, date of birth the name of the Club you are wishing to transfer from via email at email@example.com
Please also include a contact email address and phone number.
The transfer window for Season 2024 will be open from February the 1 st 2024 and close on the 30th of June, 2024.
If you will be coaching a team in Season 2024, all coaches (including assistant coaches) will need to complete their coaching enrolment/accreditation for Season 2024 prior to the commencement of the Season.
If you completed your coaching accreditation for Season 2023, this will not be valid for Season 2024. Accreditation must be completed for each Season.
Accreditation and enrolment for coaches can be completed via the AFL coach’s website: https://www.coach.afl
Accreditation courses and enrolments for Season 2024 will be available from late November/early December 2023.
Our coaching coordinator will advise all potential coaches on when enrolments/accreditation will be available on-line to complete. Coaches who successfully complete their accreditation and enrolment via the Coach.AFL website will be automatically added to the PlayHQ participants list within 24 hours so they can be added to team lists accordingly.
We strongly recommend that all coaches complete their accreditation prior to Round 1 of Season 2024 to adhere to YJFL Season By-Laws.
