The Doncaster Junior Football Club committee, led by President Corey Bakes, nominated Under 13 coach Steven Yianni for the 2024 Yarra Junior Football League Youth Coach of the year award.
Steven took on the challenge of coaching our eager U13 side, championing the growth and development of young players. In a challenging season, Steven worked continuously and tirelessly to ensure the players improved with each game they played bit also enjoyed being out on the field. Steven worked diligently with the other team officials to instil a culture of teamwork and ongoing development for the U13 players.
The YJFL held their Best and Fairest Award Day on Sunday 8th September 2024. Steven Yianni was successful in being recognised as the Youth Coach of the Year for 2024!
The DJFC is proud to have Steven as one of our coaches and look forward to his influence in continuing to influence and shape our players and future of the club!
